The Wyoming Business Council board will review grant applications totaling more than $18 million for 17 Wyoming communities at a May 28 meeting in Jackson.
The board will review 10 Community Development Block Grant applications totaling $551,164 and nine applications totaling over $18.3 million for Business Ready Community funding.
The Business Ready Community Grant applications are:
- Bar Nunn, $3 million, with an in-kind match of $1,039,298 to fund road and utility improvements at the Bar Nunn Industrial Center.
- Campbell County, $2,615,000, with a cash match of $290,600 to install water and sewer infrastructure to serve the expansion of Bucyrus and assist other businesses within the Robertson Industrial Park.
- Gillette, $644,987, with a cash match of $71,665 for road and utility improvements to assist in the expansion of Equipment Maintenance Services, Inc.
- Rock Springs, $518,435, with a cash match of $57,604 for road and utility improvements that will assist Wyoming Machinery with new building construction.
- Laramie County, $3 million, with a cash match of $88,000 and an in-kind match of $626,438 to construct the Laramie County Early Childhood Education Center.
- Sundance, $533,400, with a cash match of $10,000 and an in-kind match of $65,100 to construct a child-care facility for the expansion of the Sundance Kid's Day Care Center, Inc.
- Lincoln County, $1,182,162, with a cash match of $1,349,011 and an in-kind match of $81,600 to complete water infrastructure improvements within the Bedford Water and Sewer District.
- Lyman, a $3 million grant and a $1 million loan with an in-kind match of $1,222,495 to construct a building for the Lyman Crossroads Market.
- Ranchester, $2,862,178 with a cash match of $150,000 and an in-kind match of $210,022 to develop a commercial park.
