The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality has installed a mobile air monitoring unit in the town of Afton, near the Idaho border.

The unit will monitor particulate matter and weather data, the DEQ said in a release. The unit, officially known as a Mobile Beta Attenuation Monitor, can be moved by trailer. The DEQ said it expected the monitoring unit to remain in Afton for a year.
