Former Wyoming Gov. Michael J. Sullivan and his family were honored recently with the dedication of a landscaped plaza bordering the University of Wyoming’s Prexy’s Pasture.

Sullivan, now a partner in the law firm of Rothgerber Johnson & Lyons LLP, was recognized for the contributions and leadership he and his family have supplied to the university over the years, said UW Foundation President Ben Blalock.

The Sullivan Plaza creates an open space for students and visitors and is a byway for pedestrians and bicyclists. It will also enhance the entrance to the UW College of Education. The plaza was financed by contributions from donors and state funds earmarked for a campus beautification project.
