2017 Eclipse Riverfest, noon, Aug. 19, Mike Lansing Field. Admission is free. Commemorative cup and craft brew tasting is $25 in advance, $30 day of event. Event presented by Platte River Trails Trust & The Rotary Club of Casper.

The Science Zone presents Ira Flatow, host of public radio’s “Science Friday,” 7 p.m., on Aug. 20, Wheeler Concert Hall, Music Building, Casper College. Ticket reservations are required prior to the event. Early bird tickets purchased prior to June 1 are $50 general admission, $75 preferred seating. Solabration on the Circle, a morning of yoga and meditation, followed by breakfast and a viewing party, starts at sunrise Aug. 21 at the Bart Rea Learning Circle in Amoco Park. The event is a fundraiser for The Table, a Casper nonprofit creating inclusive community. Tickets are limited to 200. Parking ranges from $33 to $55, and event tickets range from $44 to $111. There are three options for ticket purchases: sunrise yoga and the viewing party, $111; viewing party only, $77; children ages 5 to 12, $44; children 4 and under free. Attendees have the option of starting at sunrise with meditation and yoga, or arriving at 9 a.m., for breakfast, beer, music and the viewing party with center line views and direct line of sight to the eclipse and Casper Mountain. Eclipse Party at Bishop Home, The Bishop Home is sponsoring an on-property event on Eclipse Day. This historic day at Casper’s Historic Home includes reserved parking, welcoming coffee and scones, a house tour, a gourmet lunch in the backyard, eclipse viewing, and a celebratory drink to the sun’s return. The number of participants is limited to ensure a memorable experience for all. Tickets for the all-inclusive party are $140. Entertainment: Friday: 3 p.m., Northstar plus Vibes, drum-off; 5 p.m., Chad Lore plus The Lore Four; 7 p.m., Barrel House Band. Call for photos, Art 321, submit up to three photographs, preferably matted and framed and ready to hang during the month of September. Submission deadline August 30, 2017. Pieces may be registered on line or in person at Art 321.

Award-winning photographer, Ron Hayes, offers a Beginning Photography Workshop at Art 321, 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., September 9. Workshop $45 for Art 321 members/$60 for non-members.

Art 321 hosts open ceramics studio every Tuesday morning from 10 a.m. to noon. Cost $10 per session, instructor present to assist you. Clay available for purchase or bring your own. All other supplies are provided.
