Wolcott Galleria Artisan Market, 5 to 8 p.m., third Thursday of each month, 136 S. Wolcott. Enjoy a fun evening of shopping, featuring local artisans and merchants, in the charming historic setting of the Wolcott Galleria Shopping Mall.

German Stammtisch. Those who enjoy German culture and/or speaking or listening to German being spoken are welcome. Sommer im Park mit Musik, informal potluck picnics, are planned at 6:30 p.m., at Washington Park near the lower playground on the following dates: June 29 and July 13, 20, 27 (No meeting July 6). The group will again pause in the month of August.

2017 Eclipse Riverfest, noon, August 19, Mike Lansing Field. Admission is free. Commemorative cup and craft brew tasting is $25 in advance, $30 day of event. Event presented by Platte River Trails Trust & The Rotary Club of Casper.

The Science Zone presents Ira Flatow, host of public radio’s “Science Friday,” 7 p.m., on Aug. 20, Wheeler Concert Hall, Music Building, Casper College. Ticket reservations are required prior to the event. Early bird tickets purchased prior to June 1 are $50 general admission, $75 preferred seating.
