Kelly Walsh graduate Sara Lamb signed to play soccer at Wayne State College in Wayne, Nebraska, the school announced Friday in a press release.

Lamb was a standout two-sport athlete for the Trojans, earning all-state honors all four years in soccer and lettering three years in basketball. She was a captain last season when Kelly Walsh won the Class 4A West Regional regular season championship for the first time in program history.

Lamb finished her high school career with 10 goals and 16 assists.

She is the second Wyomingite to join the Wildcats’ roster ahead of the 2017 season, after Gillette’s Samantha Phillips transferred to Wayne State after one season at Laramie County CC.

Wayne State went 9-6-3 last year, the program’s best season since 2001.
