The Nic’s Day of the Dead celebrates life with dance, food by La Cocina and Kiki Rochelle, live music, drinks, face painting, crafts for kids, lectures about Dia de los Muertos and an art show of works for $250 or less.
Costumes are welcome. The event also features a community altar where people may bring tributes to friends or family who have departed, such as photos, names, playing cards, feathers and more. There also will also be small clay skulls upon which attendees can write the name of their loved one.
