Kelly Walsh High School's full-cast musical celebrates the “roaring 20s” with the spunky Millie from Kansas "who escapes to New York City from Salina, Kansas, determined to marry her wealthy boss - whomever he may be," according to information from the theater. 

The show features high-energy tap and jazz dancing, four standards from the 1920's, nine new songs by composer Jeanine Tesori and lyricist Dick Scanlan and love ballads, including two songs from the 1967 film. The musical swept the Tony Awards in 2002.
