Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times columnist and best-selling author Thomas Friedman is slated to talk about his latest book "Thank You for Being Late, an Optimist’s Guide in the Age of Acceleration," according to a press release from the venue. His presentation includes insights into the context of today’s socio-political environment and a Q&A. He's known for foreign policy columns and his best-selling "The World is Flat, a Brief History of the 21st Century."
“Thomas Friedman will highlight global themes and economic issues and opportunities we are experiencing across the U.S. and right here in Wyoming,” Whitney Center for the Arts director Erin Hanke said. “He’ll share useful information that helps all of us become better prepared for economic relevance and success in the future.”
