New Monsoon blows into Jackson

A hot storm front out of San Francisco is rolling towards the Tetons and should arrive Sunday night. Forecasters predict non-stop rhythm, high energy and a night to remember.

New Monsoon, with its eclectic mix of percussion and stringed instruments, Latin, Indian, African and other tribal vibes will play The Mangy Moose, 3295 West McCollister in Teton Village, Jackson , on Sunday.

The group's line-up features three drummers, a guitarist, keyboardist and much more. The group is touring in support of their second release "Downstream."

"By utilizing congas, timbales, tabla, banjo, bongos, Dobro, ghatham, Didgeridoo as well as electric and acoustic guitars, bass, drum kit and keys, the group offers a remarkable array of texture rhythms and ideas," according to the group's bio.

- The Beacon Club, 4100 West Yellowstone Highway in Casper , welcomes Lonesome Road tonight and Saturday.
