Gillette, Cheyenne women crowned

Claire Schreiner of Gillette and Caroline Scott of Cheyenne were crowned Miss Wyoming USA and Miss Wyoming Teen USA at a pageant held in Casper recently.

Both titleholders advance and compete next year in national pageants.

Schreiner, 22, is a senior at the University of Nevada Las Vegas where she is a broadcast journalism major and captain of the UNLV women's track and field team

She graduated from Campbell County High School in 2005, where she was a three-time state all-around gymnastics champion in 2003, 2004 and 2005.

The competition consists of three proportional segments, evening gown, swimwear and interview. Eligible young women must be between the ages of 14 and 26 and be unmarried residents of Wyoming.

Schreiner will compete for the title of Miss USA 2010 on April 18, 2010, in Las Vegas, while Scott competes in the Miss Teen USA 2010 national pageant next summer.

Miss Wyoming USA: Claire Schreiner; first runner-up, Kaitlyn Davis; second runner-up, Catherine Mosher; third runner-up, Alicia Grove; fourth runner-up, Nikki Cole.

Semi-finalists: Nicole Doell, Kayli Jo Westling, Melissa Richmond, Tiffany Brennan, Tiffany Walbridge, Kristin Hloucha, Danielle Pinter, Fawn Kirkpatrick, Brianna Pebbles, Jessica de Ryk.

Non-finalist awards: Interview, Brooklyn Pratt; swimwear, Robyn Sodeman; evening gown, Alexis Majors.

Miss Congeniality: Jenessa Thomas; Most Photogenic: Claire Schreiner.

Miss Wyoming Teen USA: Caroline Scott; first runner-up, Karlei Fura; second runner-up, Danielle Soulier-Kelley; third runner-up, Kelsey Gorman; fourth runner-up, Chelsea Crampton.

Semi-finalists: Autumn Olson, Kolby Brown, Ashley Golden, Brittany Kaiser, Cheyenne Winberg, Kailee Wagner, Kiri Margharos, Brooke Creek, Laice O'Malley, Jade Bain.

Non-finalist awards: Interview, Kylie Hunter; swimwear, Nicole Pope; evening gown, Tayler Redman.

Miss Congeniality: Laice O'Malley; Most Photogenic: Cheyenne Winberg.
