Mother’s Day brunch

Mother’s Day Brunch in the Bob Cates Family Ball Room at the Casper Elks Lodge is 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. today. The menu is scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, french toast, hash browns, baron of beef, mashed potatoes with gravy, hard boiled eggs, vegetable tray, tossed salad, fruit salad, crepes, coffee, juice and milk. Cost is $14 for adults, children 6 to 12 are $8, and 5 and under free with a paying adult. Please make reservations for parties of six or more (this well help with setting up tables). Be prepared to wait in line. Elevator available for easy access to the ballroom, plus a new chair lift on the stairs. Open to the public. For more information call 234-4839 or 237-2432.

Mother’s Day

jam session

Mother’s Day Jam Session is 4 to 8 p.m. at the Eagles Hall, 306 N. Durbin. Eagle Riders will have their mouth-watering burgers available at a reasonable and delicious price. The occasional flautist might even show up to charm the audience, and tables will be decorated for the occasion. Come on down, dance, listen or join in on stage or even bring your own band. No admission fee.

Mother’s Day concert

The Casper Children’s Chorale is celebrating spring, mothers and song as it presents its annual Mother’s Day concert. Please join in an evening of singing and celebrating at 6 p.m. on Sunday at Kelly Walsh High School Auditorium. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and tickets will be available at the door. Special evangelist

Calvary Baptist Church, 1800 S. Conwell, hosts special evangelist John Van Gelderen at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Sunday.
