First ‘Season of Giving’ starts

Spectra Venue Management at the Casper Events Center has teamed up with the Sinclair Casper Refinery and various local businesses to present the first annual Season of Giving.

From Wednesday to December 20, the focus will be towards a season of giving, sharing and promoting social good. Each day, people, charities and causes will be highlighted, with the goal of generating fundraising dollars, raising awareness, and spreading holiday cheer in the Casper community.

The Season of Giving schedule is Wednesday, food drive to benefit Wyoming Food for Thought Project; Thursday, feed the pets to benefit the Casper Humane Society; Friday, toy drive to benefit various community organizations; Tuesday, Dec. 5, Big Ticket giveaway winner announcement at Ramkota; Thursday, Dec. 7, Nutcracker ticket donation night; Friday, Dec. 8, Parents Movie Night; Saturday, Dec. 9, Family Movie Night; Thursday, Dec. 14, Adopt A Family; Saturday, Dec. 16, Breakfast with Santa*; Wednesday, Dec. 20, Teen Night.

Season of Giving events are free and open to the public. Registration is required for Breakfast with Santa and has begun.

Elementary-age students can work alongside friends to create a LEGO masterpiece during the Natrona County Library’s LEGO Block Party at 4 p.m. Come use your creativity and show us what you can build. All supplies provided at no cost. Call 577-READ ext. 5 for more information.

Lasagna at the Elks

Wednesday night dinner at the Casper Elks Lodge is lasagna and fixings. Cost is $7 per person, children 5 to 12 are $3, serving from 6 to 7 p.m. or until gone. Members, significant other and guest accompanied by a member. For more information, call 234-4839. The menu is subject to change. All proceeds go to Elks Charities.
