Former president Bill Clinton will speak Thursday morning in Riverton and later that day in Rock Springs and Laramie, according to the Hillary Clinton campaign.
The former president's visit will come in advance of Saturday's Wyoming Democratic county caucuses, which are attracting unprecedented national attention because of the close race for the party's nomination between Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.
Bill Clinton will speak at 10:45 a.m. Thursday in the Lowell Morfeld Gymnasium at Central Wyoming College in Riverton, at 1:45 p.m. at the Sweetwater County Events Complex in Rock Springs, and at 5 p.m. at the UniWyo Sports Complex at the University of Wyoming in Laramie.
The events are open to the public.
Meanwhile, the Obama campaign hasn't yet announced if and when the Illinois senator will appear in Wyoming. Sources Tuesday said it would likely be Friday in Casper and Laramie.
"We are in the process of solidifying his schedule," Obama spokeswoman Shannon Gilson said in an e-mail this morning.
