ST. GEORGE, Utah - Authorities say another big marijuana field has been located as agents continue to take out thousands of pot plants growing illegally in remote spots.
The new field is in the Little Creek area northeast of Paragonah and has an estimated 3,000-4,000 more plants.
Iron County Sheriff Mark Gower says the tip came from someone who was already taken in to custody during the raid.
The Drug Enforcement Agency says the growing operations in Washington, Iron and Garfield counties were all related.
The plots were in remote spots that were tough to get to. The plants were irrigated and fertilized.
