Free tickets for the Air Force-Wyoming football game on Sept. 6 are available to Wyoming veterans as part of a joint venture of the University of Wyoming and the Wyoming Veterans Commission.

Five hundred tickets will be available to Wyoming veterans for the game, in Laramie. Kickoff is at 1:30 p.m.

Veterans can request two tickets per veteran by contacting the Wyoming Veterans Commission at (800) 833-5987 or 772-5145, in Cheyenne.

Veterans will need to provide their name, mailing address, and some basic proof of their veteran status such as a veterans service organization membership card, VA health care identification card, retired military identification card, or other proof of veteran status.

Official separation documents are acceptable, but are not preferred due to Privacy Act restrictions. Proof of veteran status can be provided in person at a Wyoming Veterans Commission office. All requests for tickets must be received by the close of business on Wednesday, Aug. 27, and will be awarded on a first come, first served basis. Tickets will be mailed on Aug. 28.
