A Glendo man suspected of slitting his wife's throat turned himself into Platte County sheriff's deputies on Tuesday.

Jeffrey Robert Brown voluntarily gave himself up without incident at about 3:45 p.m. after speaking by phone with authorities, according to a sheriff's department news release. He was arrested at the intersection of Fish Creek and Fletcher Park roads near the border of Platte and Albany counties.

Brown has been charged with attempted second-degree murder and aggravated battery.

Authorities allege Brown slit his wife's throat during a domestic dispute at a home in Glendo on Sunday evening. She was flown to Casper for treatment.

Brown fled the home in a white pickup before deputies arrived.
