YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK - The East Entrance into Yellowstone National Park is open for snowmobile and snowcoach travel.
Crews worked Sunday to mitigate the danger of avalanches on the pass and groomed the East Entrance road for motorized travel. The Park Service allows commercially guided snow machines over the pass when weather and avalanche conditions permit.
All entrances into Yellowstone are now open. The park is permitting snowmobiles and snowcoaches this winter under rules similar to those followed the past four winters.
