SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Utah's Megaplex theaters will not show the new R-rated movie "Zack and Miri Make a Porno."

The movie, which stars Seth Rogen and Elizabeth Banks as roommates who decide to make a sex film to pay off debts, was originally given an NC-17 rating by the Motion Picture Association of America. Filmmakers got it knocked down to an R- rating.

Megaplex general manager Cal Gunderson did not immediately return a call from The Associated Press on Tuesday.

Steve Bunnell, chairman of domestic distribution for The Weinstein Co., says the film will show in about 2,800 theaters nationwide. Megaplex is the only chain that has turned down the movie.

Utah Jazz owner Larry Miller also owns the Megaplex, which operates 70 screens at five Utah theaters. The theaters also refused in 2006 to show "Brokeback Mountain," about two cowboys who conceal their affair.
