GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK - A lightning-caused wildfire in Grand Teton National Park is being managed for resource benefits.
Park officials say the Snake Fire was only about one-quarter acre in size on Monday. It started on Saturday.
Another fire was reported last week on the Granite Canyon Trail. Park officials say it was started by an illegal cook fire and was knocked down by the people who reported it.
Firefighters hiked in and extinguished it.
The Bridger-Teton National Forest has had two wildfires this season, both reported on June 7. One was human-caused and the other was a single tree ignited by lightning.
