ROCK SPRINGS - Slick roads and highways in western Wyoming are causing problems for travelers.

Black ice advisories were posted Tuesday morning for the Afton, Evanston, Farson, Jackson, Lyman, Pinedale and Rock Springs areas.

A multi-vehicle wreck on a slick U.S. 191 near Rock Springs claimed one life and injured several others.

Meantime, the National Weather Service posted a winter weather advisory for extreme western Wyoming with up to 10 inches of new snow expected in some areas.
