Officers arrest three in unrelated incidents
The Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation seized LSD, marijuana, drug paraphernalia and nearly $5,000 in cash in two searches of residences on Thursday and Friday, according to two news releases from DCI Special Agent Tim Hill.
Officers arrested two women in the first search and one man in the second search, according to the news releases.
The cases are not related, Hill said.
On Thursday, the DCI's Central Enforcement Team, with assistance from the Casper Police Department, executed a search warrant at apartment A at 2650 S. McKinley St.
Officers seized 92 hits of LSD, about one-quarter pound of marijuana, assorted drug paraphernalia, and about $2,200 in cash, according to the news release.
The search warrant was the result of two-month investigation in which an undercover officer made several purchases of LSD totaling 401 hits of the drug.
Officers arrested Toni Skaggs, 22, and Alissa Tucker, 25, both of Casper. They are charged with multiple counts of delivery of LSD, conspiracy to deliver LSD, possession of LSD with the intent to deliver, and felony possession of marijuana.
The case has been referred to the 7th District Attorney's Office.
The LSD case is significant because of the amount of the drug, Hill said.
Its appearance in Casper is cyclical, with two arrests in the last week and none for a long time before that, he said.
On Friday, DCI's Central Enforcement Team and the Casper Police Department executed a search warrant at 507 S. Jefferson St., where they found 11 ounces of high-grade marijuana, assorted drug paraphernalia, about $2,900 in cash, and a handgun.
The team had conducted undercover buys of marijuana from the residence, and surveillance indicated continuing activity in the location.
Officers arrested Tyler Wood, 22, of Casper. He faces charges of delivery of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver, and felony possession of marijuana; all within 500 feet of the Special Education Services Center, formerly Jefferson Elementary School.
Both cases have been turned over to the 7th District Attorney's office.
The DCI continues to investigate both cases with interviews and following up leads, Hill said.
The Central Enforcement Team is comprised of agents and officers from the DCI, the Natrona County Sheriff's Office and the Douglas Police Department.
