Check clocks, smoke detector this weekend
When you set your clocks back this weekend, Casper Fire-EMS recommends you also change the batteries in your smoke detector.
Replace the detector if it is 10 years old or older, since detectors have lifespans just like other household appliances.
The fire department recommends you research new detectors to find the ones best suited for your needs, including ones that are for the hearing impaired or ones with dual sensors.
For more information, contact the Casper Fire-EMS Prevention Bureau at 235-8222.
