A man confessed to stealing about $3,500 from an office, according to a Casper police affidavit.
Paul Anthony Romero, 21, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of grand larceny after telling a detective that he took money from the office on three occasions, the affidavit stated. Romero said he used some of the cash to buy a car.
Some of the money had been marked so that the bills could be tracked with a Web site. Those markings helped lead investigators to Romero, according to the affidavit.
