A series of rollover crashes Wednesday and Thursday in Natrona County caused no serious injuries ahead of a second consecutive holiday weekend that will include stepped-up patrols on Wyoming's highways.
A rollover crash at 12:58 p.m. on Highway 220 that involved a white Suzuki vehicle resulted in no injuries, Townsend said.
A second such crash on Highway 220 at milepost 108 a half-hour later that involved a emergency-services fire vehicle and a second vehicle also resulted in no injuries.
No one was seriously injured in a one-vehicle crash on the Highway 20-26 bypass at 12:36 p.m. on Wednesday and a single-vehicle rollover on the same bypass at 1:15 p.m. Thursday, Townsend said.
The accidents come as Wyoming Highway Patrol officers will be participating in extra patrols along Wyoming highways throughout the New Year's holiday, which covers a weekend and ends on New Year's Day on Tuesday, Townsend said.
