'Little Shop' closes this week

Casper College's final performances of "Little Shop of Horrors," a musical comedy spoofing the mindset of 1950s science fiction films, are Tuesday through Saturday.

Two important elements of the play are a flower shop and a dentist's chair, so all dentists and florists will be treated to a free ticket if they show their business cards.

The play begins each night at 7:30 p.m. at the Gertrude Krampert Theatre. Tickets are $12 for adults and $10 for those 18 and under. Tickets are available at the box office between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. one hour before a performance or by calling 268-2500.

Casper offers night concerts

The Jeff Finland Band will be the featured performer at this week's Wednesday Night Live! concert. The performance is from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Second and Kimball streets, directly behind the Nicolaysen Art Museum on the Rails to Trains walking/biking path amphitheater area. Food and drink venders will be available on site. For more information, call 235-6710 or visit www.WednesdayNightLive.com.

Then, on Thursday, the Casper Municipal Band performs for Concerts in the Park. The show begins at 7:30 p.m. at Washington Park on McKinley Street.
