Auditions for the December production of Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" will take place tonight, beginning at 7 p.m. at Casper College.

The classic Christmas play will be directed by Tom Empey and will run December 2, 4-5 and 8-12.

"A Christmas Carol" will have a mixed cast of community and college actors totaling 25, including six to 10 children. Everyone above the age of 7 is invited to audition.

Those auditioning will be asked to present a short scene, preferably memorized from Dickens' story itself. Material will be provided for children at the audition, or a selection for children from the story by Dickens can be picked up before the audition at the theatre.
