Art sale expands to three days
Casper College art students will hold their annual fund-raising art sale for three days: from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, and from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, in the Casper College Visual Arts Center, according to a release.
The sale, sponsored by the Casper College Art Club will feature primarily ceramics but also include jewelry, photographs, paintings, and sculptures.
The art sale is free and open to the public and will be held in Room 102. Refreshments will be provided.
Rec Center holds late night for teens
Students in grades 8 through 12 are invited to attend "Late Night at the Rec" at Casper Recreation Center from 8 to 11 p.m. on Friday, according to a release. The event is free and will include soda and pizza, basketball, pool, volleyball, ping pong, racquetball, and more.
Students should bring their school identification card to the event.

Library holds holiday events
The Natrona County Public Library will host a gingerbread house workshop at 1 p.m. on Saturday for families, according to a release.
Each family should bring a large cookie sheet in order to take creations home. Register in advance by calling 577-READ.
Beginning Sunday, the library will host a holiday film series for families and snacks will be provided. Other films are planned for Dec. 14 and 21. Films will begin at 1 p.m.

Nic offers holiday tokens
In addition to its free Holiday Open House on Sunday, which will feature live entertainment and goodies, the Nicolaysen Art Museum & Discovery Center will give every 10th visitor between now and Dec. 31 a free gift, according to a release.
The Nic is also hosting a holiday food drive through the end of the year. Every visitor who brings in a nonperishable food item to be donated to The Salvation Army Food Bank and Joshua's Storehouse will receive $1 off admission.
Lastly, anyone who buys or renews a museum membership before the end of the year will receive a free, high-quality reproduction of a historic Wyoming map from the Rosenthal Collection (normally priced at $35) and will be entered in a drawing for a holiday gift basket valued at $400.
Moscow Ballet returns to Events Center
The Moscow Ballet's "Great Russian Nutcracker" will return to the Casper Events Center at 7:30 p.m. on Dec. 11, according to a release.
All seats are reserved and priced at $25, $35, $45, and $65 for adults. Discounts are available for children ages 3-12, senior citizens, and military personnel, but they may not be combined.

Santasaurus visits Tate Museum
Santasaurus will roam the Tate Geological Museum at Casper College during the museum's holiday open house from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, according to a release.
The open house will include refreshments, a dinosaur ornament workshop, a Christmas tree to decorate, and tours of the prep lab with recent finds available for viewing.
The holiday open house is free and open to the public.
Nic hosts holiday fun
The Nicolaysen Art Museum & Discovery Center's annual Holiday Open House will be held from noon to 4 p.m. on Dec. 7 and include free live entertainment and holiday refreshments, according to a release.
Entertainment will be provided by the Rising Star Dance Studio, Bucky Walker & Richard Turner, the Phoenix Ringers, a flute ensemble, the Oil City Slickers, Casper Youth Orchestra string players, and Paul Drury.
The museum will also offer free musical entertainment on Dec. 14 by the Kelly Walsh High School Chamber Orchestra and Dec. 21 when Jo Zagar and her piano students perform.
