Authorities arrested three men suspected of conspiracy to deliver felony amounts of methamphetamine and marijuana, according to the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation.

Jason McKinnish, Lennace Miller and Nicholas Schott appeared before a Natrona County Circuit Court judge on Tuesday and face charges of planning to deliver the drugs.

According to a DCI affidavit, McKinnish said the three men were planning to go to Denver to purchase 15 pounds of marijuana and two pounds of methamphetamine.

A Casper police officer arrested McKinnish, 23, and Miller, 19, on Dec. 26, for outstanding warrants and a suspended driver's license, respectively. The officer told the DCI agent that the two men, along with Schott, were behaving suspiciously at a Loaf 'N Jug, the affidavit stated.

Schott, 21, was released that night. Officers arrested him on Monday, and DCI agents charged all three men with the variety of possession and conspiracy to buy counts.

Officers found a loaded .25-caliber semi-automatic pistol, a case with plastic baggies, a digital scale and a glass pipe with suspected methamphetamine residue inside of Schott's truck, according to the affidavit. McKinnish told agents the three men were buying snacks for the trip to Denver when the officer arrested him and Miller.

Officers also found another gun and more drug paraphernalia in a safe in the truck, the affidavit continued.

Schott told a DCI agent that he had used methamphetamines for about two months and was a "middle man" in distributing the drug, according to the affidavit.

Agents later searched Schott's storage unit, the affidavit stated, and found more drug paraphernalia and close to $4,000 in cash.

Each of the men is being held at the Natrona County Detention Center in lieu of $5,000 bond.
