Last week, the Wyoming Supreme Court reversed the conviction of Cody Lee Edwards, 26, on the grounds the Natrona County District Court improperly excluded evidence relevant to Edwards' defense.

Officer makes gun arrest

Police arrested a Casper man suspected of being involved in the sale of a shotgun in a north Casper convenience store parking lot early Wednesday morning.

The man, Terrance William Brown, 28, was booked into Natrona County Detention Center on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm, interference with a police officer and driving with a suspended license, according to a police affidavit.

Officers found a driver's license on Brown with a photo that resembled him. However, the license was in the name of Joshua Lon Finley, the affidavit stated.

When arrested, Brown told officers his true name, police said.
