Anyone who knows a child who needs a warm coat, gloves or boots may visit the 19th annual Coats for Kids, run by the Kiwanis Club of Casper, from 10 a.m. to noon today at the Salvation Army Hope Center, 441 S. Center.

The effort continues from 3 to 5 p.m. every Saturday morning and Thursday until Dec. 6.

Craft fair mania hits full stride this weekend with plenty of choices available.

Highland Park Community Church, 411 S. Walsh, holds its 20th annual Holiday Craft Fair from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $1 per person. No strollers, please. Cafe hours are 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., serving meals and snacks.

A Guatemalan Crafts and Clothing Sale will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 801 S. Beverly from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. At the same time, visit the Preschool Craft and Bake Sale. A sloppy joe lunch begins at 11 a.m.

The 15th annual Nicolaysen Art Show and Sale is open today from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., general admission is $3.

More than 60 artists from throughout the region will sell their works, including 23 new to the show. In addition to traditional art, there will be pottery, jewelry, photography, fiber art, ceramics and glass.

Brothers of the Third Wheel will meet for coffee and socializing at 10 a.m. at Casper's Restaurant at I-25 and Poplar Street in Casper. Anyone who has a trike (3-wheeled motorcycle) or anyone interested in trikes and triking is welcome. You do not have to own a trike to be a member, just have an interest in triking. The Natrona County Republican Women will host their annual style show at 11:30 a.m. in the upper lounge of the Casper Petroleum Club. Models will be sporting holiday attire from Fashion Crossroads. Models will be Susan Thomas, Susan Dahlby, Amy Swan, Dyann Durst, Robyn Landen, Stefanie Jennings and Bonnie Foster.

The Democratic Women's Forum meets at noon at the Casper Petroleum Club. Dr. David Wheeler of Wyoming Neurologic Associates is guest speaker and will talk about health issues.

Stage III Community Theatre presents the comedy-mystery "Madam's Been Murdered, Tea Will Be Late" by Pat Cook at 7:30 p.m. The traditional British mansion setting is loaded with over-the-top characters and the obligatory spirit (or two). The announcement that Lady Fenster's sister has been found dead in the garden sets events spiraling wackily out of control.

Performances are at 7:30 p.m. today and Nov. 14, 15, 20, 21 and 22 and at 2 p.m. Nov. 16 at Stage III, 900 N. Center St. Tickets are $12 for adults, $8 for seniors (65 and older) and full-time students. They can be purchased in advance at Grant Street Grocery, Metro Coffee Company, and the Cadillac Cowgirl, and at the door one hour before curtain time.

The "Circle of Life" support group for children will be held at 10:30 a.m., at the Science Zone in Sunrise Shopping Center. This group is open for children who have had someone die and is free of charge. Parents or guardians are invited to attend with their children.

The Casper Planetarium, 904 N. Poplar St., has reopened after being closed for some spruce-ups in October. Tonight's features include Astromyths at 7 p.m., and Black Holes at 8 p.m. Admission is $2.50 per person. For more information, call 577-0310.

On Sunday, The Casper Ice Arena will host "Skate Across America" from 1 to 3 p.m. The destination is Louisville/Lexington, Ky. Admission is only $3 per person and skate rental is $2. Children 4 and under are free with a paid adult. For more information call 235-8484.

Singles Not Alone, a Wyoming, Christian-based singles group, is open to all singles, whatever your religion - or none; whether you're divorced or have always been single; whether you enjoy being single - or not. The Casper Branch of the NAACP will meet at 6 p.m. Sunday in the Railroad Room in the Parkway Plaza Hotel in Casper. Elections for all local officers will take place at this meeting. For more information, call James Simmons at (970) 590-8068.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints presents its "Evening of Music" concert at 7 p.m. Sunday at the LDS Stake Center, 3931 W. 45th St. in Wolf Creek subdivision. Come enjoy a variety of music including a performance by Alla Breve!,. directed by Marcia Patton. Admission is free.
