IBAP group reaches consensus
A group of Natrona County School District parents and staff members approved Tuesday three guidelines for the enrollment of children of district staff members, according to a release.
The group analyzed data regarding enrollment preference for the students and the interests staff members.
The three guidelines that support staff preference are: at the school where the staff member works, during the online enrollment process only; and only at a school's entry point (for example, kindergarten for elementary).
A small group will meet at 1 p.m. Monday to discuss the definition of "staff who work in a building" and an evaluation process. That group's work will complete a recommendation that will be forwarded to the board of trustees.
