Board reschedules upcoming retreat
Due to a conflict with a meeting of the Compact Issues Committee, the Natrona County School District Board of Trustees has rescheduled its upcoming retreat to noon on Sept. 17 at the Petroleum Club.
The discussion will focus on the board's interest in enrollment.
The Compact Issues Committee will meet from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sept. 22, the former date of the board's retreat.
Library display offers saving tips
The Natrona County Public Library will have, through the end of the month, a "Cent$sible Nutrition" display to help people understand nutrition labels, and save time and money by planning menus, according to a release.
The statewide program is offered through the University of Wyoming Cooperative Extension and teaches families to eat better for less through a series of classes including hands-on cooking. The display includes information about upcoming classes, or patrons can call (307) 235-9400 for more information.
The display is located inside the library's Second Street entrance.
