This weekend's activity slate includes a tour of local wind and solar energy projects, baking cookies for veterans, shopping for antiques, collecting toys for local children and a garage sale to benefit animals.
On Sunday, take your animals to be blessed at 4 p.m., and commemorate victims of domestic violence at 5:30 p.m.

The wind and solar tour will visit six locations with small-scale solar and/or wind energy in Casper.
The tour is free to the public. It starts at 9 a.m., at the Meals on Wheels facility, and ends at 1 p.m. Coffee and refreshments will start the day. The tour is sponsored by Historic Trails RC&D, Natrona County Diversified Energy Committee, Meals on Wheels and Casper College.
Paradise Valley Christian Church will hold its annual Harvest of Talents sale and auction from 8 a.m. to noon. Crafts, books, baked items and various treasures will be sold.
After the auction is an international lunch, serving foods from all around the world. Tickets for the lunch are available at the door.
The American Legion Auxiliary of Casper is baking cookies each Saturday in October at the Legion Home, 4200 Legion Lane, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for veterans facilities around the state.
Volunteers wanting to help should contact Dorothy Boam at 436-9319. Those wishing to donate cookies or supplies can take them, after 2 p.m., to the Legion Home during the week, or on Saturdays while baking is being done.
The third annual Paws2Help Garage Sale will be held at 3711 West 46th Street, Wolf Creek addition, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Paws2Help, in conjunction with Popish Veterinary Clinic, provides medical care for animals housed at Metro Animal Control, animals going to rescue, and stray animals that have been rescued.
The Casper Antique & Collectors Club sponsors its 66th Antique Show today and Sunday at the Central Wyoming Fairgrounds Industrial Building. Show hours are today, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is $2 for adults, and children under 12 are free accompanied by an adult.
A Walk for Thought to benefit the Brain Injury Association of Wyoming will be held at the Wagon Wheel Roller Skating Rink from 10 a.m. to noon. All funds raised will provide assistance to Wyoming residents living with the effects of brain injury.
The Casper Family Aquatic Center announces half-price family swim day from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. Fee is $2.75 per person. All children under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult in the water.
Wyoming Central ABATE's 29th annual Toy Parade lines up from 11:30 a.m. to noon and leaves promptly at noon from east-side Wal-mart parking lot. The parade ends at Washington Park with lunch and entertainment from the Flashback Band.
The Rescues and Runways Fashion Show will take place in Center Court of Eastridge Mall at 2 p.m., sponsored by Maurices. There is no charge to attend.
The unique Rescues and Runways fashion show features models walking with a pet that is available for adoption at the Casper Humane Society.
Learn solutions for getting your pictures and digital images organized quickly and easily during an intro to scrapbooking class at the Natrona County Public Library beginning at 2 p.m.
"Out of the Shoebox, Off the Hard Drive" will be taught by Ruth Crofut and will also feature a small scrapbooking project to take home.
The 2009 Ranch City Party is at the Parkway Plaza from 5 p.m. to midnight. Tickets are $15 each, which include dinner, dancing to the Avengers beginning at 8 p.m., and a silent auction, including a four-wheeler donated by Karst Motorsports. Tickets are available at the door.
Stage III Community Theatre presents "Wolf" at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., today and Sunday at 2 p.m. It is suitable for all ages. Tickets are sold through ARTCORE and are $12 for adults, $11 for seniors, $6 for students and school teachers, and $4 for children under 12.
The Discovery Center at the Nicolaysen Art Museum will hold at Grand Reopening from noon to 4 p.m. on Sunday to celebrate its new look and art/education stations.
Girl Scout Camp Sacajawea on Casper Mountain added two more yurts to its facilities this summer. The public is invited to attend an open house from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
Help Robert A. "Bob" Baden celebrate his 90th birthday. A party will be held in the parish hall of Mount Hope Lutheran Church, 2300 S. Hickory, beginning at 2 p.m. on Sunday. A brief program will begin at 2:25 p.m.
The Blessing of the Animals is at 4 p.m., at City Park on Sunday. It is open to all species, regardless of pedigree. The service is sponsored by On Sacred Ground of Casper.
The Self Help Center marks its 21st annual Candlelight Vigil from 5:30 to 7 p.m., at Morad Park. The public is invited to honor and remember the victims of domestic violence. There will be testimonials, music and refreshments, as well as the launching of the Hope Boat.
