The sixth annual Corvette Roundup Show and Shine car show will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the green at Fort Caspar. The public is invited to attend the free event.
Roundup participants will display their Corvettes and those in attendance will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite in each classification as well as an overall Best of Show.
All Corvettes are welcome for the entire event, including a Rally this afternoon and the Autocross Sunday. Registration is available today at Fort Caspar from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. The cost to participate in the car show only is $20.
The Casper League of Women Voters holds its September meeting at noon at Dori Lou's Restaurant in the Eastgate Travel Plaza, 6985 Nugget St. off of Hat Six Rd. The meeting begins at noon, and participants can order lunch from the menu. For more information, call Jim Brown at 472-0278.
The National Historic Trails Interpretive Center concludes its free Saturday evening summer programs today with the Kearney Frontier Regulars re-enactment from 4 to 8 p.m. With members from Buffalo and Sheridan, they bring frontier military history to life.
The Casper Family Aquatic Center announces two half- price family swim days, today from 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. Fee is $2.75 per person. All children under age 8 must be accompanied by an adult in the water. All regular facility rules apply.
The public is welcome at a plaque dedication to celebrate the contribution of Dean and Iola Cosner to the deaf and interpreting communities at 5 p.m., at the Outreach Library, formerly the School for the Deaf, 539 S. Payne. For more information, go to www.wyrid.org
On Sunday, Pathfinder Lake Marina is having a Customer Appreciation Day, starting at noon. Free hamburgers and hot dogs will be served. There will be a 50/50 cash raffle with the winner being drawn that day. Last year's winner received $2,200. Tickets are $1 each or 10 tickets for $5. You do not need to be present to win.
