A man accused of robbing CY Discount Liquor at gunpoint in August pleaded not guilty at his arraignment Tuesday in Natrona County District Court.
Benjamin Mark Bayne, 19, is charged with armed robbery and conspiracy to commit armed robbery for allegedly pointing a gun at a clerk through the drive-thru window at the store at 840 CY Ave., and then forcing it open to try to hit the clerk with the weapon, according to court records.
On a video of the incident, the thief also appeared to chamber a round in his gun, according to court records.
Prosecutors have charged three others in the incident: Nicolle Noel Rodabaugh, accused of conspiracy to commit armed robbery for driving the getaway vehicle; and Terry Tanner and David Hammond, accused of conspiracy to commit armed robbery.
Bayne also is charged in two other cases related to other robberies in the Casper area.
He is scheduled to enter changes of plea in those cases in November.
Bayne is being held in the Natrona County Jail on a $500,000 bond.
