A former Kelly Walsh High School teacher has been sentenced to five months in prison, a $250 fine and three years of supervised release for attempted possession of child pornography, the U.S. District Attorney's office announced Thursday.
Kenneth Riedl, 44, responded to an Internet advertisement for child pornography videos that was posted as part of a sting by a U.S. postal inspector, according to a prepared statement by the U.S. attorney. Riedl ordered and paid $100 for four video tapes depicting children engaged in sexual activity that were delivered to him at Kelly Walsh.
The case was investigated by the U.S. Postal Service.
