Man accused of shooting mom's recliner pleads not guilty
A Casper man accused of firing a handgun into a recliner where his mother was seated pleaded not guilty Wednesday to aggravated assault.
Police arrested Christopher Bordeau, 37, in August after the woman, who wasn't injured, reported the alleged incident. The woman told officers he showed up at her house intoxicated and upset about his marriage and started waiving a gun as he spoke.
Afterward, police said they recovered a bullet that went through the recliner and hit a medical device.
Bordeau remains free on $10,000 bond. He faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
