A Casper man injured in a Thanksgiving day motorcycle crash died Sunday night at Wyoming Medical Center, according to the Natrona County Sheriff's Office.
David Hancock, 50, was driving his Kawasaki motorcycle on Prairie Lane near the intersection of Trails End when the crash occurred at 3:25 p.m., said Sgt. Mark Sellers on Monday.
Hancock suffered a head injury and was taken to the hospital, where he died three days later. He was been wearing a helmet.
Investigators believe Hancock, who was visiting with some people before the crash, was knocked off the bike after it fishtailed and rolled over. Hancock had been accelerating quickly just before the crash.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident, Sellers said.
