The 15th annual Hogadon Ski Area Tune-up Day is from 8:30 a.m. to noon at Hogadon Ski Area. The morning will be spent helping Hogadon prepare for the upcoming ski season, improving the environment and the facilities for all to enjoy. Live music will be provided by the Saggy Bottom Boys of Douglas. Registration is required at the door. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Proper dress is recommended. The Third Annual Platte River Revival will be held from 9 a.m. to noon. Check-in will be at Mike Lansing Field. In addition to an increased focus on in-river work, volunteers will clean debris from the riverbanks, remove Russian olive trees, and plant native habitat trees.
Rescue Rangers is holding a garage sale today from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 3741 Eagle Dr., in Wolf Creek, to benefit the dogs at Metro Animal Control. Rescue Rangers is a nonprofit corporation whose mission is to save dogs at Metro Animal Control from euthanasia by transporting them to no-kill rescue groups.
Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is hosting a huge garage sale from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the College Heights Community Center, 1927 S. Walnut St., the old Garfield School gymnasium.
The Wyoming Arabian Horse Association is hosting an Open Horse and Rider Fun Day at Hiser Farms Arena, 15001 Bessemer Bend Rd. It all begins at 9 a.m., and registration takes place then.
