The Amoco Reuse Agreement Joint Powers Board will review a master plan for a business complex on the former tank farm site now known as Salt Creek Heights.
Tim Halopoff, of JR Engineering, and Greg Thomas, of the marketing firm Grubb & Ellis, presented the preliminary plan during the Board's monthly meeting Wednesday at Casper City Hall.
"We're counselling the Joint Powers Board on the best way to develop the property and market it, and make this the best success it could be for the city of Casper," Thomas said.
The master plan addresses a variety of physical characteristics for the property. To successfully market the area, Grubb & Ellis needs specifics about utility, capacity and drainage issues, Thomas said.
Now within two months of completion, the plan includes conceptual maps and pictures using samples from similar sites and ideas that match pre-existing design guidelines.
Halopoff said most of the area will be flex space, light industrial-use space, and warehouse facilities.
The Board will examine the plan and report back within a few weeks to Halopoff and Thomas with any changes or suggestions it has for the building site.
"To put together a master plan, there are various components and we're just working our way through that," Thomas said. "Until the very end, it's an ever-changing document."
