The fifth annual Award and Recognition Breakfast to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming Glenrock Branch is at 8 a.m., today, at St. Louis Catholic Church in Glenrock.
This year's honoree is Alison Magee, an influential and committed person for young people in the Glenrock community for many years.
Keynote speaker is state Sen. Jim Anderson of Glenrock.
Born in Dannevirke, New Zealand, Magee has lived in Glenrock for 48 years with her husband, Jim. They raised four children in that community and have 10 grandchildren who are a very important part of their lives. She continues to reach and impact so many children through her dedication to her grandchildren, Converse County School District 2 as a board member, and her position on the BOCES board in Gillette.
The breakfast is free to the public, however, there will be a donation ask at the end of the event.
