Police arrested a Casper man suspected of damaging another man's eye during a fight last month.

Anthony K. Skansberg, 21, was booked on suspicion of aggravated battery following his Friday arrest.

The alleged victim in the case told police a man named "Crack Pipe Tony" punched him repeatedly in the face during a fight at his home on the 2200 block of East 10th Street, according to a police affidavit. The fight happened after the man, who police say was later identified as Skansberg, confronted the alleged victim about sleeping with his girlfriend.

The man tried to heal on his own, but the pain drove him to eventually seek medical treatment. Tests showed his left orbital socket had been broken and eye suffered retinal damage.

The man and a witness both identified Skansberg as the assailant, according to the affidavit.

On Friday, Skansberg was arrested on an outstanding warrant. Police say he told investigators that someone else had beaten the man.

Skansberg remained held Tuesday at Natrona County Detention Center in lieu of $5,000 bond.
