Another group of physicians will be moving to Casper's east side.

A building is already under construction that will house Western Medical Associates, which recently announced it will be relocating to the Park Ridge Medical Campus.

Western Medical Associates will be on the second floor of the new building, while Wyoming Otolaryngology P.C. will occupy the first floor.

Wyoming Otolaryngology, which includes ear, nose and throat doctors Dr. Joseph Vigneri, Dr. Eugene Podrazik and Dr. D. Cope Norcross, will move sometime in the next 12 to 18 months.

Although their current office is located at 940 E. Third St. near the Wyoming Medical Center, the group has been forced to move because of space.

"Our practice is expanding and we are out of room," Vigneri said. "There is no way we could expand here, physically. There are three of us, and in the future we hope to bring in a fourth."

The new location will provide the doctors with almost 2,000 additional square feet of space, expanding their practice from 2,200 square feet to about 5,100 square feet.

Vigneri said this will allow them to incorporate ancillary services, such as hearing checks, hearing aid fittings and major surgeries all in one place. Also, the new location will be very convenient for the group's many cancer patients since it is being built across the street from Rocky Mountain Oncology, which is located at 6500 E. 2nd Street.

"We will be able to better serve our patients," Vigneri said.

With the addition of Wyoming Otolaryngology, Dan Guerttman, McMurry Business Park development manager, said the first building of the medical campus is full, and they are now looking at constructing a companion building to house more doctors.

No doctors have committed to move into the second building, Guerttman said.

Another group of Casper doctors are also moving their practice east. Dr. Mark Dowell, Dr. Ghazi Ghanen and Dr. Bruce Towers at Rocky Mountain Infectious Diseases will be moving to "The Foothills" professional offices, Guerttman said. The new office will be at 5810 E. 2nd. St.
