NCHS hosts athlete dinner

Natrona County High School's Booster Club will host a free dinner reception for all student athletes and their families, according to a media release.

The celebration will honor the Mustang and Filly graduating seniors, outstanding athletes for each sport, All-State recipients and State Championship teams. This celebration will be held in the Jerry Dalton Gymnasium at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

Library offers computer classes

The Natrona County Public Library will offer computer classes in the coming months to help people searching for jobs, according to a media release.

The first class will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday in the Tech Center. The classes will cover how to use resume templates in Microsoft Word and offer tips for searching for jobs online. To sign up, call 577-READ, ext. 2, or visit the library's reference desk.

Gay community sets pride event

Casper's annual gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender pride event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 13 in Washington Park, according to a media release.

The food is free, and includes hamburgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs and soft drinks. The UCC pop-rock band will play, and Wyoming Equality and the Casper Gay-Straight Alliance will be in charge of decorations and games. Free confidential rapid HIV testing will take place nearby..
