Golf course fees are on the upswing.
The Casper City Council approved a bevy of increases for a variety of fees at Tuesday's meeting, citing increased costs and a need for improvements on the course.
Green fees for nine holes would stay at $16 but 18 holes will cost $25, an increase of $1 over last year's price.
Single adult seasonal passes will rise from $425 to $450. A pass bought after July 1 will cost $315 instead of $300, a youth pass will cost $225 instead of $212, and a children's pass would cost $115 instead of $106.
Golf cart trail fees wouldn't change.
"The proposed golf course fee increases are justified to match market rates, cover increased operational expenses, and to preserve capital for future course/facility improvements," read a memo from Leisure Services Director Doug Follick to City Manager Tom Forslund.
The council approved the measure without any discussion and without a single dissenting vote.
