Social Security 101

*Learn the ins and outs of Social Security during "Social Security 101" today at 11:30 a.m. at Natrona County Public Library. Michael Baska, a Public Affairs Specialist for the Social Security Administration, will present a general overview of Social Security's programs, its history, how SSA credit is earned, what insurance is provided and the requirements for benefits. Welcome back to NC

*NCHS will hold "Welcome Back Days" from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today and Friday. Juniors and seniors should report today. Sophomores should report Sept. 1. During Welcome Back Days, students will get their parking permits, pick up their schedules and have their photos taken for ID cards and the yearbook. Students also will be able to purchase NCHS apparel and passes for activities.

KW sets verification

*KWHS finishes registration verification today: sophomore Registration from 8:30-11 a.m.; freshmen Registration today from noon-2:30 p.m.

During this time, students will get photos taken for ID cards and the yearbook, pick up their schedules, pay fines, purchase parking permits, yearbooks, and/or photos, review demographic information for parent contact, etc. Sophomores will be given a health update.
