The city of Casper is recommending two board members who missed half of their board meetings be reappointed to their positions.
The Casper City Council will begin to discuss the vacancies on a handful of boards and commissions across Casper at Monday's work session.
Doug Follick, director of leisure services, is recommending reappointments for both Eric Easton and Stephanie Erickson to the Leisure Services Advisory Board. Both Easton and Erickson missed half of the board's eight meetings this year, according to a memo from Follick to City Manager Tom Forslund.
Neither Follick nor Easton returned calls seeking comment. Erickson doesn't have a listed phone number.
Council members will also be presented resumes and letters from people interested in positions on the Planning and Zoning Commission and the Old Yellowstone District and South Poplar Street Corridor Advisory Committee.
One two-year term and two one-year terms are available for the Old Yellowstone committee.
If the council approves two staff-recommended reappointments for the planning commission, then two other vacancies will still remain. Four people expressed interest in those positions.
