The Natrona County Coroner released the name of the woman who died in a fire Thursday in a downtown apartment complex.

The woman, 70-year-old Sharon Lee Marzocca, was found dead in her apartment on the seventh floor of St. Anthony's Manor, an apartment building on East Sixth Street that offers affordable housing to seniors.

Coroner Connie Jacobson continues to investigate the cause of death, according to a news release. Marzocca's apartment was filled with smoke when she was found by emergency personnel.

Marzocca was pronounced dead at the scene at approximately 10:50 a.m.

The fire began shortly after 10:30 a.m. and was contained to one apartment unit, though smoke spread through multiple floors, fire personnel said Thursday.
