A suspicious truck followed students to and from a bus stop near Salt Creek Highway and Renauna Avenue on Thursday and Friday in rural Natrona County, authorities said.
A white four-door Ford pickup followed students near the bus stop on Thursday morning and afternoon and again on Friday morning, according to a news release from the Natrona County Sheriff’s Office, which is investigating the incident.
The driver of the truck was a white male estimated to be about 30 years old, with facial hair and wearing a camouflage baseball cap, according to the news release.
The truck was described by students as a work truck with tinted windows, tool boxes and roof lights. Two students saw the truck and reported it to the Natrona County School District, which then reported it to the sheriff’s office on Friday.
The sheriff’s office asked anyone with information about the incident to call 307-235-9282.
